SYSTEM OVERVIEW
Avaya SuperPipes
represent a new class of routers that complement the award-winning Avaya
Pipeline family. The SuperPipe 155 is Avaya's high-performance,
multiservice access router for application-oriented businesses. Ideal for
Internet access, mission-critical remote access, virtual private networks,
and voice and video services, the SuperPipe 155 integrates a range of
interface alternatives that provide the connectivity choices that
businesses need, including ISDN, T1, dual analog phone jacks, and
integrated security features.
The all-in-one
design reduces costs by eliminating the need for expensive software
upgrades, memory modules, add-on cards, or separate VPN and firewall
devices. Initial configuration of the SuperPipe is quick and easy using
the graphical NavisConnect setup application, and ongoing management is
supported via SNMP, allowing management platforms such as Avaya
NavisAccess to provide comprehensive, centralized control and monitoring.
