SwiftSite™
SwiftSite™ is a group video system designed to serve the videoconferencing needs of small, mid-sized, and large businesses. It provides a full range of solutions-from high-end, full-featured systems for large conference rooms or executive meeting applications, to the compact set-top video system ideal for small offices or remote branches. This system is manufactured by PictureTel, sold by Avaya and fully supported by Avaya Data Services at the Avaya Video Technical Center which provides design, systems assurance, project management, implementation, and ongoing support for our customers' videoconferencing systems and networks.

MultiPoint Conferencing Unit (MCU)
Avaya's MultiPoint Conferencing Solution includes all of the necessary networking and networking management products required for customers to establish and operate successful multipoint video conferences. The total solution consists of three complementary sub-systems:

Avaya's MCU sets up and manages multipoint video conferencing calls,
The optional Conference Reservation and Control System (CRCS) automates the reservation process and manages the MCU, and
The optional Enhanced Server Module (ESM) supports multipoint data conferencing allowing conference participants to simultaneously work on documents and spreadsheets in real time.

Avaya's Conference Reservation and Control System (CRCS) is an optional, Microsoft Windows™-based automated system for reserving and controlling conferences, conference rooms and video networking resources.

Users wishing to make a reservation can call a reservation agent and request a number of video conferencing endpoints for a specific time(s). Avaya's CRCS will perform conflict resolution for the request and, if all sites and the Avaya MCU resources are available, schedule the conference and at the appropriate time download the proper information into the MCU for setup and tear down of the conference.
